What I would do for GUT HEALING

Welcome to my new blog series: “What I would do”!

My goal with these posts is to simplify the healing journey for everyone. I have had this site for 10 years, I’ve written over 300 posts, and I’ve worked with over 1000 clients with HTMA on healing plans. I have used all of this experience to aim to simplify things as much as I can for people that want to heal but maybe don’t have the time to pour over my whole site.

What I plan to do is to show the biggest helpers for specific health issues that you can get directly from my favorite companies like Perfect Supplements, Earthley, Bliss Energetics, and others. This will make it easier for you to pick what will help you most or find what you’ll be more consistent with.

I truly hope that this series is helpful! We’re starting with the biggest one: GUT HEALING!

Read my whole ACV post here for how to use!

My favorite way to drink ACV: 1-2 Tablespoons of ACV, 1-2 Tablespoons of The Ginger People Ginger Juice, and fill the rest of the glass with water or organic apple juice. This blend can help with nausea, bloating, menstrual cramps, constipation, detox reactions, and certain urinary issues. This can be used before meals OR as needed.

Aloe Vera
Anti-inflammatory; can support histamine/mast cell issues

Read my whole aloe vera post here!

  • My favorite is George’s brand as it is easy to take and is 100% aloe vera, no additives.
  • Dosing is on the label for best use.
  • Aloe vera is one of the best ways to support gut inflammation healing; it can support healthy blood sugar levels; it can help with mast cell/histamine issues; it is known to help with gum and oral health; and it’s known to help with reducing oxidative stress in the body.
Marshmallow Root
BEST moistening herb ever; can be a big soother for gut inflammation

  1. Hi Kirstin!

Thanks for this post ! Is it necessary to get an HTMA done to take aloe Vera , ACV for the gut ? Asking for a friend with bad eczema.

  2. Hi Zara! No, you don’t need an HTMA if you know that there are gut issues going on based on symptoms. HTMA helps to pinpoint more exact issues, but my goal with these new posts is to help those that can’t do HTMA for whatever reason 🙂

  3. First time on your website. It might be better for the average person if you would define the letters with first use in the text, rather than simply using initialism (abbreviation) throughout without first defining. What is HTMA? I’m assuming it is Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, but you know what they say about “assuming” anything… thanks!

  4. Ah, I what you mean. Most of the people I share this with have been around for awhile so they already know HTMA and what I do. I’ll edit it 😉
