Happy New Year!! What’s your word for 2019?

2019 is approaching quickly- where did this year go?! I know that this was quite a challenging year for many people, and I hope that 2019 ends up being a much better year overall for everyone.

For the last 2 years, I have been choosing a word of the year to help with manifesting what I wanted to accomplish for that year.

For 2017, my word was FOCUS. I was about half way done with my degree and I had so many goals I wanted to accomplish so I wanted to stay focused. It did help to get a lot done!

For 2018, my word was BETTER. I wanted to learn to love myself better, feel better, and be a better person overall. This year I have absolutely changed as a human and I have learned the biggest lesson overall: in order to love others, you must first love yourself. After a lifetime of feeling like a burden to others thanks to everything I’ve been through, I’ve finally been able to get out of this mindset. Since I have been able to accept that I deserve deep healing finally, I’ve discovered that I have a bartonella infection holding me back and next year is going to be my time to finally finish my healing process.

So for 2019, my word is going to be THRIVE. I will heal this infection, I will continue to love myself in order to truly love others, and I will start THRIVING.

So set your intentions for 2019- pick a word! Some common words are:

  • Less (as in less drama, less sugar, etc)
  • Better
  • Abundance
  • Focus
  • Surrender
  • Strength
  • Happiness

Your word can pretty much be anything as long as it means something to you. It might be something that just comes to you all of a sudden, or you can take a look through suggestions. Once you have your word, make it easier to remember. Make it your wallpaper on your phone or computer, make a vision board, make it your FB profile picture, or if you are artistic create a painting or drawing for a wall at home.
