Your Mind is Powerful

Mindset truly is important in general, but especially while healing from a chronic illness. I really didn’t understand that or why affirmations were so important and effective until I started learning about the Law of Attraction over the last few months. I’ve been seeing things about affirmations, the power of mindset, and the like for years but I never really understood it until the last 1-2 months.

We actually CAN help ourselves by changing our internal dialogue. If you are constantly thinking things like “ugh I hate life” “I’m so tired of being tired”, “I’m never going to heal”- then you’re going to continually attract negativity and you will have a very hard time getting to where you want to be.

Everything is energy, and everything has its own vibration. The more that you can think in a positive way, the more you will be able to experience true positivity. Using affirmations can help you to change your energy and vibration.

But if you take the steps to change your negative thought patterns into positive ones, then things can shift and sometimes quickly. Use the phrasing as if you have what you want already: “I am healthy”, “my body works perfectly”, “I love my body and my body loves me”.

Now I am NOT saying don’t have emotions. This is not what “toxic positivity” is about. Feel your emotions completely- and then let them go. Process them. Don’t shove them down and ignore them, but don’t let them consume you.

You attract what you put out.

I wanted to put a list together of some good health affirmations to give you some ideas. You can say these phrases to yourself through the day or you can even write them out each day when you journal. Whatever feels right to YOU is the right answer. You are the maker of your destiny, and you create your own reality.

  5. I lose weight with little effort
  6. My body knows exactly how to use the nutrients that I give it
  7. I have boundless energy

  10. I am healthy and strong
  11. I am nourishing my body and giving it what it needs to heal
  12. I am healing!
  13. I trust the healing process
  14. My detox system works perfectly
  15. I honor my body and appreciate its hard work
  16. I love taking care of myself
  17. I deserve good food and self care
  18. I am grateful for my health body
  19. I am free of pain and stress
  20. I am surrounded by love and healing energy.
