One group of supplements that are great for managing stress are called adaptogens.  Adaptogens are substances that help your body’s response to stress.  They help the body cope with external stresses (toxins) and internal stresses (insomnia, anxiety).  They are great for adrenal and thyroid health.  Common adatogens include:

Ashwagandha– Immune health, combats stress, improves memory, anxiety, depression, brain cell regeneration, adrenal and thyroid health

Siberian Ginseng: Stress resistance- helps underlying cause of stress. It creates resistance to infectious diseases, helps lessen muscular fatigue and balances hypertension

Maca– Used for 2000 years for medicinal reasons; Enhances strength and endurance; Very Mineral rich; Fertility assistance for males and females; Energy booster;  Great for thyroid and adrenal health and the whole endocrine system.
